What's New in New Orleans for Bachelorette Groups
More than a dozen restaurants opened in New Orleans between January and May 2026, and a handful of them are ideal for a bachelorette group. We pulled the ones that work for a table of six to twelve, fit a flexible budget, and feel new enough to justify swapping out a classic.
This is the working list as of May 2026. Reservations are easier now than they will be in fall, so book early.
The Restaurants Worth Going Out of Your Way For
Vyoone's
Best for: An anchor dinner with French food and a serious wine list | Price: $60 to $90 per person
Vyoone's opened in the Warehouse District and is built around classic French fare. It is a small dining room with proper service, white tablecloths, and a wine list that the staff actually walks you through.
This is the move for the bridesmaids dinner or the night you all decide to dress up. Make a reservation as soon as you have dates.
Order this: The duck confit at $42 and a bottle of Burgundy off the by-the-glass list.
"Booked Vyoone's for our bridesmaids dinner and it was the best decision of the trip. The room is gorgeous and the staff treated us like adults. The duck was perfect." Google Review
Patula
Best for: The bachelorette photo dinner | Price: $50 to $75 per person
Patula is in the French Quarter and leans into courtyard dining with serious greenery, romantic fountains, and the kind of lighting that does not need a filter. The food is contemporary New Orleans, the cocktails are strong, and the room photographs beautifully.
Order this: The Gulf shrimp small plate at $22 and the seafood pasta at $38.
"My maid of honor booked the courtyard table and we got every photo we wanted plus dinner that was actually really good. Patula goes on the list." Google Review
Lufu (French Quarter location)
Best for: A bolder night with regional Indian food and a cocktail program that goes hard | Price: $45 to $70 per person
Lufu opened a bigger second location in the French Quarter with intricate murals, Bollywood memorabilia, and a colorful cocktail menu that fits the room. The food is regional Indian and not the standard bachelorette dinner. That is the point.
Order this: The lamb chops at $36 and the goat curry at $32. Order one of every cocktail for the table.
"We were burnt out on Cajun by night three and Lufu was a different planet. The cocktails are unreal and the lamb chops are the best thing I ate all weekend." Reddit
Patty's Burger Bar
Best for: A casual late-afternoon stop or a recovery lunch | Price: $20 to $35 per person
Patty's brought the smash burger trend to the Warehouse District. The room is bright, the menu is short, and the bourbon list runs to 40 selections. There are spiked milkshakes, which is a different kind of bachelorette move.
Order this: The double smash with American cheese at $14 and a spiked chocolate malt at $15.
"Came in for a casual lunch with the bachelorette group and stayed for two rounds of spiked milkshakes. The smash burger is legit and the bourbon list is wild." Google Review
Studio
Best for: A quieter Uptown dinner away from the French Quarter chaos | Price: $55 to $80 per person
Studio is the neighborhood-friendly counterpart to Doris Metropolitan, and it is built around specialty steaks and produce-driven small plates. The patio is dreamy, the room is calmer than anything in the Quarter, and the wine list is sharp.
Order this: The dry-aged ribeye at $58 to share and three or four of the small plates.
"We needed a break from Bourbon Street and Studio delivered. The patio is beautiful and the steak is one of the best I have had in NOLA." Google Review
How to Slot These Into a Bachelorette Weekend
- Friday night: Anchor at Vyoone's or Studio for the dressed-up dinner. Both rooms hold ten comfortably.
- Saturday afternoon: Patty's Burger Bar for a recovery lunch before the rest of the day.
- Saturday night: Patula or Lufu for the photo dinner. Save room for Frenchmen Street after.
- Sunday brunch: Stick to a classic. The new openings are dinner-forward this round.
Planning Tips
- Book Vyoone's and Patula at least six weeks out. Both are running tight reservation books as of May 2026.
- Lufu and Studio still have weekday reservations available within two to three weeks. Use that.
- Patty's does not take reservations. Walk in before 6:30 or after 8:30 with a group.
- If your group has dietary restrictions, all five kitchens handle them well. Call ahead and the front-of-house will flag the table.
- For the absolute latest on what is opening between now and your trip, check the Resy New on Resy New Orleans page the week before you arrive.
