What's New in Key West for 2026 Bachelor Parties
| Quick Summary | |
|---|---|
| Best for | Groups who have done Key West before and want the new spots |
| Where | Duval Street and the surrounding blocks |
| Move | Mix one or two new stops into your usual Duval crawl |
Why the New Stuff Matters
Key West runs on Duval Street, and a bachelor crew can crawl it on autopilot. But the island turns over its bars and restaurants constantly, and a couple of the recent changes are worth folding into your plan.
You do not need to rebuild the whole weekend. Drop one or two of these into the crawl you already know and you get a fresher night without gambling on the unknown.
New and Recently Opened
Square Grouper Key West
Best for: A real seafood dinner before the bars | Price: $25 to $40 entrees
A newer arrival that has been pulling strong reviews for fresh, island-focused seafood. This is your sit-down anchor dinner, the meal that keeps the group upright for the rest of the night.
Order this: Whatever the fresh catch is, prepared blackened, around $32.
Bangkok Happy Bowl
Best for: A change of pace on Duval | Price: $15 to $28 plates
A sushi and Thai spot right on Duval Street. When the group is burned out on fried grouper and key lime, this is the reset. Good for a fast, filling meal between bar stops.
Order this: A few shared rolls and a round of Singha.
Two New Bars at The Gates Hotel
Best for: A slightly elevated start | Price: $14 to $18 cocktails
The Gates Hotel added two new bars, giving you a more polished spot to kick off the night just off the main drag. Start here before you dive into the Duval chaos.
Moved or Changed
The Alamo (formerly Smokin Tuna)
Best for: Live music and a courtyard | Price: $12 to $16 drinks
The old Smokin Tuna space is now The Alamo. The courtyard-and-live-music format that made the location a good group stop is still the draw, so if your crew liked the old spot, it is worth a look under the new name.
The Tiki House (New Location)
Best for: Frozen drinks and photos | Price: $13 to $17 cocktails
The Tiki House moved around the corner onto Duval Street. Same tropical, over-the-top frozen-cocktail energy, easy to find on the main strip now. A fun mid-crawl stop for the group.
One Duval Restaurant and Bar
Best for: A waterfront meal at the top of the island | Price: $28 to $45 entrees
Sitting right at 1 Duval Street on the water, this New American spot is a strong option if the group wants one nicer meal with a view. Book the sunset window.
How to Work It Into Your Weekend
- Anchor one night with a real dinner at Square Grouper or One Duval, then hit the classic Duval bars after.
- Use Bangkok Happy Bowl as your mid-crawl fuel stop so nobody fades early.
- Start at The Gates Hotel bars for a calmer first round before the group hits full speed.
- Call ahead for groups over 8. Key West spots are small and fill up fast in peak season, roughly December through April.
