Locals call it WeHo. It is a former industrial pocket just south of downtown that filled up with breweries, galleries, and no-nonsense bars. The crowd is Nashville, not bachelorette buses.

For a bachelor group, that is the appeal. You get great beer, cheap rounds, and room to actually hear each other, all a five-minute ride from the Broadway chaos when you want it.

Do WeHo as your afternoon-into-evening block, then decide as a group whether to head downtown or stay local and keep it cheap.

Tennessee Brew Works

Best for: The anchor first stop | Price: $7 to $9 pours

A big, three-level brewery with a solid food menu and live music. This is your meet-up point. Grab a table, order a flight, and eat something before the day gets away from you.

Order this: The Southern Wit and a round of the smoked wings.

Jackalope Brewing: The Ranch

Best for: Patio games | Price: $6 to $8 pours

The Ranch pours 16 original beers, has a dog-friendly patio, and keeps shuffleboard going. Open Tuesday through Sunday. Easy walk or short ride from Tennessee Brew Works.

Order this: The Bearwalker maple brown ale.

Fait La Force and New Heights

Best for: Rounding out a brewery crawl | Price: $7 to $9 pours

WeHo keeps sprouting new breweries, and Fait La Force and New Heights Brewing are both worth a stop if the group wants to keep the crawl going. Pick one, split a couple of pitchers, keep moving.

The Bars

Santa's Pub

Best for: The story you tell later | Price: Cash only, cheap

Nashville's most famous double-wide trailer dive. Cash only, cold beer, and karaoke that does not care how good you are. Get the groom on the mic. This is the heart of a WeHo night.

pH Craft

Best for: A cocktail reset | Price: $13 to $16 cocktails

When the group needs a break from beer, pH does craft cocktails, mixology classes, and snacks like sliders and charcuterie. A good mid-crawl pit stop.

Good Times Full Service

Best for: The newest stop | Price: $12 to $15 cocktails

WeHo's newest bar leans retro with tiki-inspired cocktails and a small food menu built around a very good burger. End the night here before you call it or cab downtown.

How to Work the Neighborhood

• Start at Tennessee Brew Works in the late afternoon while you can still get a table and food.
• Crawl on foot where you can. The core breweries and bars sit close together, but a couple of stops need a quick rideshare.
• Bring cash for Santa's Pub. It is card-free and it is non-negotiable that the groom sings.
• Decide your exit early: stay local and cheap, or catch a ride to Broadway around 10pm. Do not try to do both badly.
