A divey institution since 1994 with a famous jukebox and a legendary, very large burger. Good for a mid-crawl food stop when the group needs to eat before round two.

Midnight Cowboy

Tucked just off the strip in a former brothel, this is one of Austin's original speakeasies and still one of its best cocktail bars. You need a reservation and a buzzer code to get in, so it makes a great planned-ahead first or last stop for a group that wants one elevated round.

When to Drift to East or West Sixth
