An East Austin institution. The Don Juan El Magnifico is a mountain of potato, egg, bacon, and cheese that one taco technically contains and two hungover groomsmen can share.

Order this: The Don Juan, around $7. Add tortillas for the table and build your own.

Taco Bronco at Batch

Best for: New-in-2026 bragging rights, barbecue crossover | Price: $5 to $7 per taco

The newest name on this list. Taco Bronco comes from the Micklethwait Craft Meats team and opened at Batch Craft Beer and Kolaches in East Austin, serving Texas style tacos and slow smoked shared platters with barbacoa, pork carnitas, and South Texas boar sausage on locally made tortillas. Smoked meat plus craft beer in one stop is a bachelor party cheat code.

Order this: The barbacoa taco and a shared smoked platter for the group.

Norte at Hi Sign Brewing

Best for: Brewery patio session with tacos on site | Price: $4 to $6 per taco

Norte is one of the newest trucks in town, parked at Hi Sign Brewing in East Austin. The Volcán and the al pastor are the early standouts. Park the group on the patio, order rounds, and nobody has to move for hours.

Planning Tips

• Do a taco crawl on your activity-light day: Cuantos, then Nixta, then a brewery stop at Hi Sign with Norte. All three are in East Austin.
• Trailers are cash-friendly and fast, but lines at Nixta and Cuantos can hit 30 minutes at peak. Send two guys ahead to order for the group.
• Breakfast tacos before 10am save your morning. Veracruz or Vaquero, then back to the house pool.
• Most trailers close early evening. Late night tacos on Sixth Street are a different, worse animal. Eat before you go out.
